Hi, I’m Emily

A Little About Me

For more than 25 years, I’ve been lucky enough to call photography my career.

Homegrown in the Hunter Valley, Newcastle, NSW, has been home for most of my adult life. It’s where I’ve raised my two beautiful children, India and Arkie, built my business, married my husband Maty, and created a life I’m incredibly grateful for.

I discovered my love for photography at just 20 years old, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Over the years, my camera has taken me to some amazing places, introduced me to incredible people and allowed me to experience cultures and moments I may never have otherwise encountered.

Travel is a huge passion of mine, so if a photo shoot involves jumping on a plane and heading somewhere new, I’m definitely in!

But at the heart of everything I do are the people in front of my camera.

I take the time to listen to what you want, get to know you, make you feel comfortable and create a relaxed environment where the magic can happen naturally. I want your photographs to feel like you, genuine, beautiful and full of emotion.

I’m incredibly proud of the repeat clients, lifelong connections and wonderful friendships I’ve built over the years. When you genuinely love what you do, it shows.
